Originally released on Dreck Records in 2003 (DRK-02)

London-based artist Secondo continues the sliced-up explorations of existing songs he initiated with ‘Self_Ctrl’, a year 2000 re-working of Laura Brannigan’s 1984 hit ‘Self-Control’. Each track in this ongoing series assembles miniscule samples from one specific popular song, transforming it into a new piece while retaining a certain flavour of the original. The result is a meeting of diverse musical styles with Secondo’s unique “Schnitzel Technik”.
